My father's father was Emmanuel Da Silva moved to St.Vincent from Portugal in early '80's his mother's name was Mary. My father's name was Nicholas Da Silva.

My mother's maiden name was Da Costa, father Norman Glenroy Da Costa his father was Joseph Da Costa, mother Mary De or Da Silva ... her mother's maiden name was Balvina Ollivierra, (born 1881) her father was Joseph Ollivierra, her mother was Antonia Furara according to her birth paper but I'm thinking it might be Ferreira spelt incorrectly.

My father was born in St. Vincent and moved to Trinidad, his siblings except for 1 lived and died in St. Vincent.

My mother's total family moved from St. Vincent to Trinidad.

I'm new to this geneology thing, and have no idea how to go about finding information on where in Portugal they emmigrated from..

Any help would be appreciated.
