One other note--On Mary's grave she is listed as Mary Dobbs McKinney--I didn't realize that she was related to the Dabb's family for many years. In 1880 or 1890 she is living with James and Susie and the census listed her actual birthday--it matched that of the Mary Dabbs in the Bible records--it suddenly hit me that they were one and the same--began looking at other notes and everything came together. So I think that she changed her spelling when she moved to Cherokee County, because that is what those Dabbs/Dobbs were doing.
