Stanialaus DABROWSKI c1870 Nowy Sacz, Poland

I've just spent 7 hours looking over church records from Nowy Sacz...trying to decipher Polish and Latin.
I'm seeking info regarding Stanislaus DABROWSKI who married Agnus URYGA in Nowy Sacz area...they had at east one child, Marya born 1875. Marya married Stanislaus JASICA c1893.

Hi,

My grandmother is Wanda Magdalena Dabrowski, born in 1918 in Ghuszow-Wieki, Poland. She married Josef Kuznik born in Czama, Poland and they emigrated to France in the 1940s (and became "Cuzenic").

Does anyone have any info that might be related? I cannot find any places names Ghuszow-Wieki or even Czama! The information that I have comes from their naturalization paperwork in France.

My grandparents were Catholic.

My grandparents, Dabrowski-Dombrowski, both came from a area south of Warsaw, Poland. They left around 1900. Grandmothers M/N was Graboski. They lived until passind in Gary, Indiana.
I am trying to find any information I can on both of them.

My grandfather was Jan Lucjan Dabrowski born 2/3/1929, him i've never met. He married Jozefa Dropio born March 1931 her i ve met once. Anybody think they've seen this name anywhere? Any info is appreciated. i was also born in Poland however i have no memory or personal meetings with that side of the family besides my immediate parents (my father is Grzegorz Dabrowski). I am searching for a little history.

just been reading through the board hope u dont mind me posting.My grandfather was polish soldier in scotland during ww2.my father gerry was born 1942 henryks son.....henryk Dabrowski was known to live in paris post war although he changed address sumtime up to 1975 we know he was still in france but area unknown he married and had another child unknown if male or female can anyone help or tell me where in france to look for records oh and my french is very poor.???

Researching information on my Great-Grandfather August Dabrowski Sr. (Dombrowski) (1851-1932), born in Boreck, Poland, [Boreczek (Town), Rzeszów (Province), Poland] buried in DePines cemetery, Wisconsin. He married at Sacred Heart Church, Wisconsin, to Barbara Kropidlowska (1862-1907) in 1883, born in Liniewo, Poland, [Liniewo (Town), Gdañsk (Province], Poland) and again to Xavera Kuklinska in 1894, born in Zalesie, Konetz, Poland. August had two brothers and a sister, Martin of Hammond, Indiana, and Ignatz of Flancher, Wisconsin. The sister still remains unnamed and in Poland as of 1932. My cousin, Linda Carrigan (lgarrigan1@new.rr.co), documented this information using public records and obituaries on file at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. Wladyslaw Dabrowski, Ostroleka, born 1917

I am looking for information on any relatives of my fiances father Wladyslaw Dabrowski. As far as we are awhere he was born in Ostroleka in 1917. He was captured by the Germans & taken as prisoner of war. He escaped from the camp and travelled to Italy where he joined the Polish free army and fought in the battle of Monte Cassino, he then came to England. He may have been married in Poland. He had brothers & sisters but unfortunatley we do not know their names or what happened to them during & after the war or his parents. we know that one brother went to France & had a daughter called Janine who married Morris. Can anyone help me or point me in a direction to start searching ?

My paternal great-grandfather, Pawel Dabrowski, was born 25 Jan 1891, probably in Ostroleka, NE of Warsaw, from whence he emigrated to the US through Philadelphia in 1914, ending up in Cleveland.
In Cleveland, he married Eleanor and had three children, Eugene, Bruce, Lucie. In 1920 he returned to Ostroleka and had another son, Benjamin. In 1923, he returned to the U.S. to settle in New Britain, Connecticut.

Am looking for any relatives of my grandfather Anthony Dabrowski. He came to this country @1890 from Zhlebowack Poland at the age of seven. From what I have found out his father's name was Joseph (jozef) and his mom's name was supposedly Marcianna Smolinska. (I have located a Marion Dabrowski in the 1920 Census which also lists the same names as his brothers). Where is Zhlebowack? Can any one help me? kathi

My Grandfather Frank Dabrowski/Dombrowski came to the US in the 1880's and married Mary Urban. He was suppose to have lived in the Pittsburg, PA area before moving to Camden, NJ. He was suppose to have come from the Bialystok are in Poland. He registered for the Russian Army in 1872 but came to the US to escape serving in their army. Prior to 1939 my late father Romuald Dabrowski lived in Lwow,ulica(street)Podzamcze 3,Poland, was occupied by former USSR, in 1940 he was deported, ended up in Israel where he died 15 years ago with no contact with his family at all.

DABROWSKI, Blanche - G-6308 W. Court, age 72, died Thursday, January 20, 1972 at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Rev. Fr. Amos H. Wischmeyer officiating. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Dabrowski will remain at the Dodds-Dumanois Co. Funeral Home where a Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:30PM Sunday. Mrs. Dabrowski was born in Pennsylvania,, March 29, 1899 and had been a resident of Flint for 55 years, coming here from Standish, Michigan. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Swartz Creek and was employed at AC Spark Plug Division from 1928 to 1943. Surviving are: 4 daughters, Mrs. Frank (Genevieve) Tomek, Mrs. Stephen (Stella) Harchick, Helen P. Dabrowski all of Flint, Mrs. Frank (Josephine) Robeson of San Clemente, California, 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 2 sisters of Flint; several nieces and nephews. Husband, Roman Dabrowski preceded her in death August 19, 1963.
