I saw your post on the Dace-Hamby side and my mother was a Dace. I have done some research on the Dace side and this is what I have found so far.
I have the obituary of Mary Ellen Hamby (Dace), also referred to "Speck M.". Willard Nathan Dace, her uncle, took her into his home and raised her. She had a brother, Michael, three sisters; Ida Winkler, Jessie Bull, Tracy Hilgendorf. Two 1/2 brothers; Elmer and Jim and one 1/2 sister Katherine. Thanks for posting. Would love to know what else you have on the Dace side.
