Sarah Jermey (Jermy) lied with Dack as a young girl and later had children Olive, Maud, Robert, Viola and others. As we understand it she ran away from him with the children and later had my grandfather by Charles Webster of Mattishall but though we have his birth certificate we do not know the exact location of his birth and recent investigationshave found she had post natal depression after one of her babies and was kept in an asylum for about a year however it seems likely she got pregnant again whilst living there! My grandfather had grim memories confused in his head and many mental problems as a result as we believe he was kept there wiithout his mother for many years. She seems to ahve swanned off elsewhere with Webster until he as about 13 and then hauled him back again to work the smallholding owned by Amelia Webster and her son Charles Webster. He knew and loved his step siblings and I keep contactto this day with one of Robert Jermey's daughters also called Yvonne (young). Olive was sent to Australia, Robert to Barnardos not sure about the others.
