I've been concentrating the majority of my genealogy efforts on my dad's side of the family, trying to get my grandmother as much info as I can on her family while she's still around to hear it.

I've begun a little bit into the Dacy side, and think later this year I'll be jumping in with both feet. On the bright side, if you go to the LDS site and do a search on Thomas Bartula, it will bring him up, and from there you'll find a LOT of information on the Meis side of the family (Catherine Meis was Catherine Dacy Bartula's mother). There are several generations of the Meis family already documented.
