You and I are something like second cousins, once removed. Nellie Dacy Cochran was my great-aunt (sister to my grandfather, Cornelius). Your great-aunt Frances Nelson was my first cousin, once removed, etc. I have doing genealogical research on the Dacy family for a couple of years now, and have acquired a good bit of material on James and Bridget, most of their offspring (my great-aunts and uncles), and subsequent lines. My goal is to discover who James' and Bridget's parents were, and where in Ireland they came from. I have received information recently that James arrived with his parents about 1841 (he would have been about 2 years old). Any suggestions where to focus research?
