The surname Dadah is a possible spelling variant of your surname Dadas. From the reference book Jewish Family Names & Their Origins, An Etymological Dictionary by Heinrich W. Guggenheimer and Eva H. Guggenheimer, it lists Dadah as a Hebrew name short for David. Patr. Dadashev, Dadashov, Dadshov, Dadashu, Dadshu, Dadbin. It lists the surname Dadi, Dado, as Hebrew, Ashkenazic short for David, Sephardic Span. dado 'given' transl. of Natan. Der. of Sehp. n. Dadon, Dadoun (Moghrabi)Dadone (It.), Dadouch (Moghrabi), Dadush, Daduse.

Hi to all Dadas`s. We are in Split, Croatia, my father name is Vicko, and grand father Marin. That is all I know. Our family name is here for more than 360 years but nobody seem to know from where it has come. Anny contact will be greatly appreaciated. Regards to all.
