I am looking for information about my grandfather Salvatore. He was born in San Severo,Italy on Febuary 11, 1889.His father's name was Matteo and his mother's was Carmela(Nuzzi).In his family he had 3 brothers,Nicholo,Vincenzo,Luigi, and 2 sisters (one who lives in Lyons, France), and the other who's name is unknown as well as her whereabouts.When my grandfather was 21 his father died and he joined the army soon afterwards. and then left and came to America where he met my grandmother Giuditta Scherzi(or Scherza,Sgherzi(a). They settled down and had 14 children. Her sister Antonia had 16 children, and vincenza is unknown what happened to him. If any of this info sounds familiar please e0mail me, I would love to talk.
