      <title>D'Addario Origins</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.daddario/38/mb.ashx</link>
<description>Hi, My father's name was Anthony Stephen D'Addario (when in WWII his name was changed by the Army to Daddario for ease of spelling). His parents came to Boston, Massachusetts directly from Italy many years ago. I was told that there was/is a small town in Italy named D'Addario, which is where my father's parents were from, located around the middle section of Italy, on the western side/coast(?), but I know no more information than that. His father's name was Stephen A. D'Addario. Anyone know of a small town in Italy called D'Addario? My father's father had a couple of daughters, Mellie? &amp;amp; another one I think and some brothers, one was named Mattie. My father was the youngest (now deceased). I've heard the name D'Addario is like the surname Smith in Italy.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks, Susan :-)</description>
