Hi again, I veiwed you postings. You are looking for info on the signers of the petitions that Republicans used to initiate Enforcemeent Act of the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments of 1870. You can find a brief bio of each man at www.brairtownpublishing.com. Results of my research on this event of April 4, 1870 is compiled in a book THEY LEFT THEIR MARK. You can obtain through the website. Several descendants still living in Circleville are planning an annual celebration of what started in Circleville.
