Does anyone have any information on DADEs in Somerset, England. I have partial information on Samuel Dade, my great-grandfether (born about 1861, and lived in Taunton for part of his life, and was at some point in the Army), or Thomas Dade his father (born about 1821) or Louisa Dade his mother (born about 1823.

I am looking for the obituary for Carl Smith. He was murdered in 1948 in Miami. I believe his wife was named Anita. He was born in 1908. He was my grandfather. Sadly, I never met him. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have information that John Alexander's daughter Mary married Charles Binn, Charles and Mary's daughter Katherine married a Baldwin Dade. Katherine and Baldwin Dade moved to Missouri with their daugher Agnes B. Dade. She is my Great Grandmother. All I can find is Baldwin Dade was married to a Catherine West. Can someone help me?

Hello

I am interested in finding out more about the above gentleman. He is not a direct ascendant, but was married to my Great Grandmother Henrietta Frances MESSEDER from August 1888 until about 1898.

In 1903 I believe he married Alice BEECROFT in Kensington, London.

He was born in 1867/8 in Stratford, East London and at the time of his first marriage was living in Fenner Street, Stockwell, South London. Both he and his father, Samuel, were both painters by trade.

DEAD/DADE family of Norwich

Thomas DEAD married Elizabeth STARLING in 1722 in Cathedral Church, Norwich, England. Later in 1756, a possible son of Thomas 1st, a Thomas DEAD aka DADE married BATHSHEBA BROWNING in St Peter Mancroft, Norwich.
According to the IGI the second Thomas DEAD/DADE died in 1793. I believe that he may be a grandfather of mine but need supporting information to verify that this is indeed the family we have been searching for. Any others with an interest in Thomas DEAD/DADE will be 'met' with great interest!

William Deed married Mary Wallace in Oxford, England in 1875. I only know of 1 son, Edward. He married Esther Perry, probably in London c.1819. They later came to Victoria, Australia. Children were Harriet, Ann Wallace, Sarah, Samuel, Mary, Robert, John, James, William Edward and Benjamin. I can't get any further back than William, but suspect that the surname was originally Dade. Can anyone help?

Looking for where Dades came from before Kansas. I know they were in the Hutchinson area and Reno Co. Kansas in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Richard Gott Dade (b. Jan 9,1853) is my great grandfather. He was a farmer. His children were Charles Richard Dade (my grandfather), Frank Eugene Dade, Alta Bell Dade, Esther Ann Dade, Clara Regetta Dade, and Iva Lee Dade.
Does anyone know where this branch of Dade's came from before Kansas? Or who his ancestors were?

Hi I am trying to locate descendants of Robert Richards Dade. He was the brother of my ancestor William Dade. They were the sons of Elizabeth Parker and Robert Townshend Dade. Many researchers have used R.T.'s half-brother as the husband of Elizabeth Parker. I have a copy of their Marriage Agreement and not possible for the half-brother at age seven to marry.

Searching for a Parson Dade that married my ancestor, George Oakley to Susannah ? her last name in question. Married in London County, Va. during Rev. War. Parson Dade was possibly a Chaplin in the army. Gessing the marriag took place around 1778 to 1779.
