George Waller m Louisa Detweiller abt 1866 in PA

The unknown - different information about Louisa Waller's maiden name. Earlier it was reported as Furman(n), today I learned an 80 year old aunt thought it was Detweiller-unknown spelling. She was born in PA. George and Louisa had a son named Allen Monroe Waller, b in PA about 1875 in PA and later lived in NE, married Margaret Shaffer, daughter of Daniel and Leticia Kennedy Shaffer. Any information about this family would be most appreciated.

Jacob died June 2, 1900
Married Elizabeth Bliss who was born in Switzerland around 1930. She died September 9, 1906

Children:
Otto born 1862 which is my great great grandfather. Born in Switzerland.

Otto Daetweiler was the only one who changed the spelling of his last name to Daetwiler. I have a copy of Jacob Daetweiler's Naturalization paper from the State of Kansas, Dickinson Cound from 1891. I also have another paper where he is applying to become a US citzen. It is dated 1881 and says Jacob is 43 years old. Which puts his birth year at 1838. I have his birth year as either 1829 or 1838. I also have another copy from the Distirct Court of Dickinson County, KS declaring Jacob Daetweiler a citizen of the US , dated October 25, 1890. I have family pictures of Otto and his kids and of course generations on down from Otto's line. I also have a lot of grave shots taken at I think Sunset Hill Cemetary in Dickinson County near Herington KS. A lot of Daetweilers are buried there. Hope this helps some.

Good to hear from you! I have visited the site before and knew there was a relation...Daetweiler is not a name you run into every day. Great photos! Love the music too....my hubby and I have been hooked on your sound for years!!

Jacob and Elizabeth's daughter is Louisa DAETWEILER FAELBER MILLER. She is my GGGrandmother and I have a photo of her with John H. MILLER and kids. Louisa's daughter Bertha FAELBER MANGOLD is my Great Grandmother.

Hello,
I typed in my last name in google & found your message. My great grandparents moved from Switzerland to Kansas. They seemed to marry quite a bit with another family, the Tishauers, also from Switzerland. My dad has done some geneology on our side of the family.

Looking for Swiss relatives possibly located in Aargau, Canton of Aargau, Switzerland. Jacob DAETWEILER m. Elizabeth BLISS in 1850 and immigrated to Dickinson Cty, Kansas sometime after.
