I just wandered upon this posting and thought I'd save you some searching! Gales Creek is a tiny little place about 45 miles NE of Portland, in the NW part of the state. It's located about 12 miles from Forest Grove in Washington County on Hwy 8 toward Tillamook, Oregon. It's a great place of much beauty near the Tillamook National Forest.
