Hi, My father was Paul B. DeFoe and my Grandfather Dr.George W. DeFoe came from Canada to Detroit and changed the spelling from Dafoe to DeFoe. I went to a Dafoe -DeFoe reunion (1976?) and met Eleanor. We had a great dinner and visited graves. I don't remember who we decended from. There was also a book with our history I have somewhere that I can't find. There is also a cousin Pat in Winsor,Ont. My Mother was Barbara Carpenter DeFoe and I am Judith DeFoe Berns. I moved years ago to NYC to be a Ford model. I now live upstate in Kingston,NY. I wondered what happened to Eleanor. It was so long ago that the Canadian postage was 40 cents. Now ours in States is more.. I would love to something about the Dafoe family and ancesters.
