As I was ill for a while I just found your April 6, 2005 post. Understand you have a translated version of the Dahler family.

Would be extremely interested in following the line as Konrad is my gggrandfather. Is there any mention in the book of the maiden name of Maria who Konrad married or if there is a wedding date. Would greatly appreciate the names of any brother or sisters he may have had. In other words any information you can give me. Did the Dahler's come from Freien Seen Hesse Darmstadt? How does the Boning (or Boening) name fit into the family? Is there anywhere in the book the name Aubert? Also, are your Dahlers connected to the Dahler's in Illinois, Mt. Carroll, Sterling, etc?
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated and I am very happy for you that such a book is available. Wish my family had such a history, but no such luck.
