Hi my grandfather lived in New York and his name was William Dahler. He married Frances Grimmig and moved to Meriden, Connecticut. His father, August Dahler came from Berm Switzerland, and moved at the age of 79 to Meriden with my grandparents. William had 3 daughters, Elizabeth (Uryase) Ruth (Lyons) Norma (Meyers). I know that they did live in the Bronx from stories Mom told me. Is this helpful?
