Sorry to say I don't think there's a connection here. We are descended from a Peter Eric Dahlstrom and Marie Nymen whose children were: Augusta Wilhelmina Dahlstrom (my g-grandmother who married Charles Anderson), Olga Amelia Dahlstrom, Anna Marie Dahlstrom, John Edger Dahlstrom and Helen Aleda Dahlstrom. Peter Eric Dahlstrom had 10 siblings, none of them named August.

We do have a Kansas connection in name only as two of my g-grandmother's sons lived in Wichita. Their names were William and Otto Anderson. Some of their descendants still live in that area.

For the most part, the Dahlstrom's and Anderson's in my line live/lived in either Minnesota or South Dakota and they too came from Sweden.
