Alexander S. Daigler, 48, died yesterday morning at his home, 1029 ½ Nash road. Born in the town of Amherst, he had resided in North Tonawanda the past 24 years. He was a member of the Acension church, the Holy Name society and the Sweeney Hose company. Surviving are his wife, Cornelia, nee Wendt; three sons, Donald, Charles and Daniel at home; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Hayes of Tonawanda and Helen at home; two grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Anna Daigler; five brothers, Edward, Walter and Norman of Kenmore, Oscar of the town of Amherst and Lawrence of the town of Pendleton, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Leising of Swormsville and Mrs. Herman Monklebaan of Holland, N. Y. Rites will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 from the residence and half an hour later from the Ascension church. The Rev. Francis J. Hunt will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet.
