I do not remember him ever talking about Milton,which would be his granfather.He did mention that at some point the family came from Tenn., but that was it.I only remember him telling me his father George Washington Dale worked for the federal gov't.Can't remember exactly what hbe did.And the only thing I ever remember Grandpa Dale or anyone say about the Civil War was that our family fought for the South.That was made very clear.Lol!I was only a kid though,I remember many nights during the summer when we would stay with Grandpa Dale and Grandma Marge the aults all in the living room talking about the family and our roots.I am going to have my da email me everything he knows, or remembers, as he was a part of those conversations with Grandpa Dale.So you knew my GGranpa?Do you live in Doniphan?How are you related?
