Surnames: Dailey, Rickard, Griffis, McMurphy, Burson, Montgomery
Received off the internet:
Owen Dailey was born in Ireland about 1675 and immigrated to North Carolina. After the Revolutionary War, his grandson Owen came to north Monroe county around the latter 1770s, married Sarah Elizabeth Rikard. They had many children, among them David Dailey. David married Sarah Abigail and too had many children. Hugh Dailey was their son and married Sarah Griffis. Hugh and Sarah had David Lawrence who married Mary Ann McMurphy. David Lawrence and Mary Ann had Alex Daniel Dailey. Alex Daniel married Leila Burson and had 10 children, including Ila Pearl Dailey. These families lived in north Monroe county and in Wilcox County in the communities of Watson's Crossing, Neenah, and Fatama. I am looking for a Charlie and Emma(Montgomery) Dailey from Beatrice.
