I am still looking for information on my GF Charles J. Dailey or any variation of the last name, it might have been O'daley.
He was born in Ireland in 1871 and migrated to the US around 1887 with his sister (unknown) Dailey. They entered the US thru a southern port VA?. They ended up in Chicago where he entered tne US Navy during the Spanish American War. Upon his discharge he was awarded his citizenship. His sister married in the Chicago area and C.J. Migrated west. He married My GM lena Moore in Defuniac Springs FL. He died in the Imperial Valley, CA in the 20's
