Raymond H. Dailey, age 93, of Erie,Pa,
passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at Saint Vincent Health Center. Born in Erie on June 1, 1919, he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Edna (Rastatter) Dailey. Ray served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a truck driver for Sealtest Ice cream company. He retired in 1981 from Erie Forge & Steel after 30 years of service. Raymond also enjoyed traveling, feeding the birds and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Johnson Dailey and second wife, Dorothy Liebel Dailey; a son, Patrick Dailey and a stepdaughter, Carol Brink. Survivors include a daughter, Karen Levis, husband Donald, of Edinboro; a brother, Ronald Dailey and a sister, Patricia Monacella; two stepsons, Robert and James Liebel; two stepdaughters, Mary Dearborn and Patricia Liebel; two grandchildren, Scott Levis and his wife Stephanie, Kimberly Tissue and her husband John; four great-grandchildren Kylie and Aidan Levis and Emily and Evan Tissue; and other step-grandchildren; a long time companion, Alice Williams and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Manchester Presbyterian Lodge for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Raymond. Friends may call on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a service there on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
