I came across your message while doing some work on Robert Alexander (or Archibald) Dakers (1866-1954). He was an artist and editor of the Haddington Courier in East Lothian, Scotland.

While looking him up in the National Archives here I found this, which might be new and a bit of a surprise to you:

I would welcome any info on Robert, the artist as I believe he may also have been a photographer.
