Am seeking infomation on the Dakin family originally from Derbyshire who moved to Heywood in Lancashire possibly around the 1830's. John Dakin (sometimes spelt Daykin) b around 1827 in Fenny Bentley, Derbyshire I believe to be my Great great grandfather. His children were Elizabeth(b1862, Eleanor (b 1863), Walter (b 1865), John (b 1869) Ada (b 1870, Alice (b 1876) and Lillie (b 1879. Dates are approx from 1881 Census.
