This 21st Day of Jan'y in the year of our Lord 1720/1
We, the Inhabitants of Penn's Neck, by a meeting appointed for the Purpose as followeth:
Did about the Division of the Precinct into two, it being so very large and troublesome both on account of the overseer of the Roads and the Inhabitants working upon them and ______ so in all other offices. We of our own free will and voluntary account have divided it as followeth,
that is to say, the Lower part to ___ ____ their offices in their Division from the Line which Runns from the lower end of Cornelius Corneliuson's Bounds so that his lower Line is in the Division of the Precinct, so straight over to Gabriel Dolbow's Island, then down the River, this being by our own free and voluntary Consent of both Sides.
Therefore, we the subscribers chosen by the majority of the People in
both sides, do humbly request the Court to Confirm it to us, and in so
doing so shall acknowledge ourselves obliged to the s'd Court, In
Witness we the subscribers have set our hands the day and year above
