I've just found your messages about Thomas Dalby. If I have my facts right, there seem to have been 2 men called Thomas Dalby, born in Bulwick around 1821. My line comes from Thomas D, a groom, and his first wife Sarah Goodwin - their marriage cert gives his father as also being Thomas. They had my ggrandfather, James Thomas. I think Sarah died and he then married Catherine .... However, I could find no mention of other children on the census records.

However I am in contact with someone else who does have a Thomas D born in Bulwick, whose father is Joseph Dalby, in her tree.

I would be interested to discover which line you are connected to.
