Lydia Anne D'Alessandro Lydia (Lee) D'Alessandro passed away on September 23, 2004, after a 4-year struggle with Vascular Dementia. Born Lydia Anne SIGLER on March 15, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to Webb SIGLER and Lilly (Burrough) Sigler, she graduated from Montebello High School in 1941, worked for the LA County Asses-sor's office and married Frank W. D'Alessandro on November 1, 1948. They moved to Reno, NV in 1962, where Mrs. D'Alessandro worked as an interior designer. In the early 1980's, Mr. and Mrs. D'Alessandro moved to Federal Way. Lee was very active in the Federal Way Women's Club and was a member of the Browns Point United Methodist Church until 2001, when she moved to Port Orchard. Lydia was a generous, giving woman; she loved to travel, dance, read and entertain. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and is survived by her daughter, Leanne (Dan) Landon, Port Orchard; granddaughters Katie (Mike) Thompson, Port Orchard and Rachel (Jon) Toepp of Billings, MT; her grandson, Jason Landon of Port Orchard; four great-grand-children, Camille, Jeremy and Nathan Toepp, and Christopher Thompson. Per her wishes, she will be cremated through the services of Miller-Woodlawn and will be inurned in a private ceremony at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way. Memorial donations may be made to The American Assoc. for Cancer Research, The Alzheim-er's Foundation, or to Hospice of Kitsap County.
