My grandfather Charles D'Alfonso came to Portland, ME around 1908 we believe and lived with the Ferrante family who where his 1st cousins. He had 8 children. My father, Nunzi D'Alfonso, took over my grandfathers construction business in the 1950's then his brother Joe became a partner with him a few years later. Glad to hear from you.
