Thanks for the post. To date I have found nothing more here regarding this Dallas branch of "my" McRae family so it appears they moved away, but to where? Shipping records might offer further clues. Do NZ marriage records of that time record any details of the partners' parents because, if so, strong positive indicators may be found there?
