Ball M Dalton, Clayton Co., Iowa, 1895 Census
While searching for our Iowa Daltons, I found a probable error in a listing for Ball M. Dalton. We are not related to him that I know of, but someone may be searching!
The data gives his township as "Strausberry Paint ??." For those researchers not from Iowa, I'd like to suggest that this township is probably Strawberry Point. It's in Clayton County, close to the locks on the Mississippi River. Across the river lies Prairie Du Chien, Wisc.
