Hi,
I'd been lucky to connect some data. Unfortunately, I'm not able to give you more details but maybe this information can give you a chance to know more.
Your grandmother Isabel Noa Founier was descendant from Thomas O'Daly as you heard from her. Thomas had two sons and a daugther called Ysabel O'Daly de la Puente(probably your grandmother's name came from her) because she was a great lady in Puerto Rico that time. Did you hear from her?
Some time ago, I found searching by internet a website from Professor Maritza M. Noa from Puerto Rico (I think). She is a painting and drawing professor. At that website she claims descendant from Ysabel M. O'Daly de Goyena. Last surname came from her husband Joaquin Goyena y Martínez Andino. Your grandmother, if we consider the surnames coincidence, is probably descendant from the first couple's son Francisco Estanislao Goyena. A descendant from him was Elisa Fournier spouse of Benedicto. Who probably were the fathers of your grandmother Isabel Noa Fournier. Unfortunately I didn't find information about the generations between.
I hope this data will help you to clarify your genealogy to Thomas O'Daly.
Thank you very much for the bronze plaque reference, that I found very interesting.
I'm focusing my research in Dermot or Demetrio, Thomas son from who I'm a descendant, but I'm also interested in Ysabel descendance, for that reason I you know some new data and you could share I will be grateful for.
I look forward to hearing from you.
