I'm curious about your DALYS who spent a year in OH before moving westward. Do you know their whereabouts in OH? We share many of the names you mention, and are supposedly from Cork.
My DALYS settled in Lorain County, OH in 1833, and some still live there today. I'm also in OH.
There was a big DALY family in the Cincinnatti area, to whom I can't prove a relationship.
