For the life of me, I cannot see either a Maria nor a Francesca D'Ambra listed in Ellis Island database that entered USA 27 may 1897.
However Maria D'Ambra and Michelangelo d'Ambra (Luigi's children) did arrive in NY 28 May 1896!
They were going to Provvidence.
