'MRS PILKINGTON, wife of R. R. Pilkington, K.C., is a writer of temperamental articles, under the pen-name of "J. Longworth Dames," many of which have appeared in the "West Australian." [i.e. the local newspaper] She has also published a successful novel, and has read many papers at the Karrakatta Women's Club on various subjects.'
