(What I have never been sure about is if this Boston in California was Boston G. Damewood born in 1836, possible son of William L.G. Damewood originally of Gallatin County, Illinois, where his great-grandfather Boston/Sebastian Damewood served in Clark's army during the Revolutionary war...)
Also not sure about the Boston who was convicted in 1821 in Gallatan County, Illinois, if he was son of Boston Damewood....who served with Clark's Army in Illinois, during the Rev. and is found there for a few years, before migrating to Kentucky where he received land for pension, then migrated to Tennessee, eventually applying for Rev. War pension in Robertson County.

(I descend from Old Boston/Sebastian ((as he was known in Pennsylvania when he was christened and in Botetourt Co. Virginia where he and his brother Malachi, signed up for the Revolutionary War)) via his son Henry, who migrated to Jackson County, Missouri and then ended up in Sabine County, Texas, his daughter Jane married William Henry Stroud in Sabine Parish, Louisiana, 1853.
I am curious about the two Boston's who went to jail, or were killed by a mob while in jail, and who their fathers were. With a name like Boston Damewood, they probably descend from Old Boston....just not sure how. If your bible or papers have any information about the linkages, that would be helpful.)
