Hello,
I am trying to find information on Henry Damewood. He served in the South Carolina militia in 1780-81 during the Revolutionary War under Capt. Moses Lidell. He died prior to April 1785. I am trying to find out whether he was the Henry Demuth/Damewood who died ca 1785, possibly in Stokes Count, NC. This Henry Demuth/Damewood was first married to Anna Margaretha Moser, daughter of Leonard Moser. Will be glad to share info.
