Sharon Damian-October 22, 2001
ANCHORAGE-Sharon J. Damian, 61, who lived in Aberdeen for 37 years, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage of a heart attack.
Mrs. Damian was born Sept. 6, 1940, in Aberdeen to Donna Rothrock Cosper and Robert Neil Young. She was raised in Cosmopolis and Aberdeen, and graduated from Aberdeen's Weatherwax High School in 1958.
Mrs. Damian married Ronald McKinney on April 17, 1959. She later married Gary Damian on July 25, 1975.
Moving to Alaska in 1977, Mrs. Damian's last job was at J.C. Penney in Anchorage, where she resided.
She is survived by her son, Ronald McKinney; a daughter Robin Love of Bothell; sisters, Neila Teagle of Ocean Shores, Arleen Eckner of South Carolina; and step-sisters Judy Martin of Florida and Janet Huff of Olympia.
Arrangements were made by Evergreen Memorial Chapel in Anchorage. No service was held.
