M ggg granfather’s name is Louis Henry Damme, b. April 12, 1843 in Berger MO. He married, had five children, and died in Cook, NE. Although I have plenty of information on his descendants, the only information I have about his parents is his father’s name. It seems that we may have a connection - given the Berger to Nebraska connection and that perhaps Louis is one of the children of your Johann “Henry” Damme or one of his brothers (if any came over with Johann).
