Would you have any info. on the following Dampier/Dampierre family?
I'm descended from Elizabeth Dampier b. ca. 1605 Dorset, Eng. who married William Henry Dean.
She was supposedly a sister of George Dampier Sr. b. 1618 Somerset Co.,Eng. who was the father of William Dampier "the Buccaneer".
Elizabeth & George were supposedly children of William Richard Dampier b. 1584/85 (Normandy, France?) d. 12/27/1662? East Coker, Somerset Co.,Eng. & wife Margaret Giles b. 1590 d. 1635
If this is correct, do you have any info. on the ancestry of William Richard Dampier/Dampierre ?
