I'm descended from Elizabeth Dampier b. ca. 1605 Dorset, Eng. who was supposedly a sister to George Dampier Sr. b. 1618 Sometset, Eng. who was the father of William Dampier "the Buccaneer".
Elizabeth & George were supposedly children of William Richard Dampier b. 1584/85 (Normandy, France?) d. 12/27/1662? Somerset Co.,Eng. & wife Margaret Giles b. 1590 d. 1635.
Do you have any info. on this family or perhaps any info. on their ancestry?
