Hi, I'm doing some family research and happened upon an Aiken family (Texas) site which I believe contains my family history. My great-grandfather was Elmer Damron Aiken. I believe that his mother was Louisa Catherine Damron, the second wife of James Herman Aiken of Bell County, Texas. My mother has an excellent picture of Elmer Damron Aiken and my grandfather (Johnny Elmer Aiken as a baby). I will post it sometime later in the coming months as I don't have a digital copy of it and the picture is quite large and difficult to reproduce.
