Searching for the parents of this gentleman for a friend. Probably lived and died in New York State.
May have been a fireman.

I found him on the SSDI and will have friend send for copy of original paperwork.

I found an Emmanuel Dana on the 1930 census with a birth year of approx 1910, (which is in the ballpark), however, my friend is not very sure that the parents listed (Jean and Bridget, from Switzerland and Ireland, respectively) could be his ancestors.

Any help or ideas where to search further would be greatly appreciated.
