John Riley and Adenia Beeson's oldest son J.D. Beeson (now 90 years old) says this about his parents:

"When dad got old enough to leave home (Arkansas) , he struck out to Texas where he landed a job on a farm next to the Clark farm near Grapeland Texas where he met the youngest Clark girl who was 17 at the time. They got married July of 1912. Mom liked about 4 months being 18 when they married."

Betty, I'd appreciate any information you can add about the Clark family--when they came to Texas and from where, for example. Exactly where did they live when the girls got married for the first time?
