Hello:

My grandfather Victor (Wiktor) came to America in 1887 or 1888. I have a letter from 1950 from his brother Franciszek who lived in Rzeszow in Poland. My grandmother also came here and was a Kociemba. They were married in the Ord, NE area approximately 1891. I have found that the original spelling of my name is Danchak. The rest of the known family spells it Danczak. Mine is spelled Danczek. The brother of my grandfather from Poland spelled it Danczak. That has to be how mine should be spelled after the change from Danchak, whenever that was. I would like to further correspond if this is of interest. Also, my grandfathers brother Lawrence came with him to this country at the same time.
Thank you,
Victoria
