I am searching for information On Gladys Maud M Dando. I believe she was born in Roath, Cardiff, Wales to Alfred Dando and Isabella Moore. I was able to find Isabella Dando and Gladys Dando on the 1901 census as well as Lily and William Dando but they were listed as residing in a Union Workhouse as paupers. I can't find anymore information on Isabella or Alfred other than I believe they were married in 1897. In 1911 Gladys was sent to Canada as one of the British Home Children through Dr Barnardo. She then married Walter Alvin Quick and had 8 children one of whom is my husband. Any information on her parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
