Anyone have a Dando Everett in their family? He was a friend/lover(?) of my grandmother, Dorice Halden, and was manager/partner(?)with her in a tobacco farm in Rhodesia in the late 1920s? My grandmother came from the Manchester area of UK but lived in Africa between 1925 and 1960. He may have met her on the SS Barrabool going to Cape Town in 1922. I think Dando was his first name, or it may have been a nickname, or a double-barrel! I'd love to know more about him.
