Trying to locate anyone with information about the Nathaniel and Helen Dane family of Vermont. Nathaniel born June 20, 1889 at Troy, Vermont. Married about 1912 to Helen May Bedell who was born October 1894 in Washington State. Helen was the daughter of Nelson G. Bedell and Eva May Allen. Eva May often went by Evelyn or Martha. Nathaniel and Helen had four known children. Walter born about 1915, Ralph N. born February 8, 1916, Barbara born about 1917 and William B. born about 1924. Family is located in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts in the 1920 census. In the 1930 census Nathaniel and three children, Walter, Ralph and Barbara are still located in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. Helen and son William are in the Concord, Essex County, Vermont. Both Nathaniel and Helen list marital status as married. William Dane enlisted for World War II in Grafton County, New Hampshire on February 3, 1943. No additional information has been located on him. Ralph N. Dane served in the U. S. Army as Lt. Colonel. He served from 15 Sep 1941 to 30 Sep 1961. He served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. His wife's name was Louise A. (maiden name unknown). Ralph died on August 1, 1987 in Santa Clara County, California. Last residence, Palo Alto, California. He is buried at San Francisco National Cemetery. Additional information for Walter and Barbara has not been located.
Nathaniel had a brother George who resided with him in the 1920 census. I believe Nathaniel and George were sons of William and Georgiana Dane. However the parents names are hard to read on the 1910 St. Johnsbury, Caledonia County, Vermont census.
