Can you help me with more information on J.C. Dane (gunmaker) from Lacrosse, Wisconsin. I have in my shotgun collection, a beautiful double barrel shot gun made by J. C. Dane. High grade engraving with dogs and birds and beautiful walnut stock. unique style of how it breaks open,
possibly his invention. Any history would be greatly appreciated.
