My maternal grandfather was John Calvin Daniel. My maternal grandmother was Annie Scarborough Daniel. They lived in Greene County, NC where they owned a tobacco farm prior to moving to Wilson, NC. My mother, one of their 8 children, was Betty Hassell Daniel. My uncle, Bill Daniel, was mayor of Wilson prior to his death at age 35. I know that John C Daniel served in the NC General Assembly. I would be interested in any info on John Calvin Daniel.
